MORENA sold the government to VESNA, and so there is a time when it is obvious that everything in nature seems to be reviving, budding and blooming. It was during this period, which began with the spring equinox, that our ancestors celebrated various holidays and performed many ceremonies. These ceremonies were mainly associated with the change of the season and the beginning of agriculture work. Even today we celebrate WATER DAY as well as EARTH DAY.

We can say that quite a lot can be learned about this ancient holiday and the ceremony associated with it. After all, I guess there is no better-known original ceremony of our pre-Christian ancestors. But let's talk a little more about why it will be thrown into the fire and the water.

It's gotten a little colder, but I can still feel that SPRING is here. Even the storks flew in on Monday. But it's no wonder, because today is the day of the vernal equinox, which means that VESNA has spread its green wings over the landscape and MORENA have to go.

Believe it or not, it was Valentine's Day that reminded me that it was time. It's actually such an in-between time. During this period, our pre-Christian ancestors celebrated Veles Day and after it one more holiday of Svarog, which Christians know as "Ash Wednesday."

     We already welcomed the New Sun in the form of Koliada during the winter solstice. The old year ended, the new one began and our three kings Svarog, Perún and Veles came to sanctify it and thus began the period that our ancestors called "Mjasopust" or also "Maselnice" or "Fašiangy".      We begin to perceive the lengthening day when winter meets summer and there is a holiday called "Sretenie" known under the name "Groundhog-Hromnice".
