Function:  the daughter of Lady, called Syria (Moist, Fertile) Mother Earth, is the personification of the Earth, the goddess of harvest, fertility and protector of herds, as the eternal spinner and weaver, she is the goddess of fate and fortune telling, she is one of the Rosary (judges)                    Image: Goddess full of feminine shapes, she dresses in dark but warm colors to look modest, but the clothes are decorated with beautiful jewelry created from earth's treasures. On her blond hair rests a beautiful golden glittering crown decorated with precious stones                                 Incarnations and descendants:  Usud, Perplut, Podaga, Svetogor, Kovlad, Živa and Morena, Polevik and Kurent            Symbols: spindle, tow, holds in one hand, while in the other hand she holds a symbol fertility horn or bowl, cow, rye, flax, hemp, willow          Sacrifices: bread, porridge, grain, poppy seeds, milk, wool, threads, scarves, ribbons, linen, dishes, wine and honey             Holidays they start already in the spring, with the ritual cleaning of wells associated with the celebrations of the goddesses Lady and Life, this period culminates with Easter. an important holiday is the time of the full moon before the first of November, on this holiday the goddess is thanked for the harvest, Mokoš was also honored during many other holidays associated with natural cycles and agriculture                   Note: Mokoš is tied to the underworld, as she helped Lada in the creation of man and so , the bodies of dead people are buried in the ground so that their consciousness can return back to the Rod and their souls can roam freely in the underworld. In spring, Mokoša's hands are raised, giving the earth moisture and keeping it warm. In summer, her hands point to the earth, blessing the earth and giving it fertility for a good harvest.
