I didn't even look back and suddenly it finally worked. Yes, it took a while before Gabriela and Zuzana from Global Slovakia confirmed that they would come to visit. Of course, they didn't come alone. Just recently (two days before the visit), I started to think about the possibility, to organize debates and seminars on the topic of the Old Slavs and their spirituality in my yard, and let's see, it's here.
The welcome was of course bread and salt, but I also added apples hidden in a bottle. Since the sun was really hot and it was not possible to sit on the terrace, we moved to the shade of the shed.
Gabriela and Zuzana were brought to my first debate in the yard by a family from Pittsburg, with roots somewhere in Prešov. Usually I know the topic of the interpretation a week in advance, this time it was not like that, but the interest was to learn in a nutshell how our Slavic pre-Christian ancestors actually perceived it, or what kind of gods they had.
We really started at the beginning, with the golden egg of the god ROD, followed by a big bang, the birth of the love of the goddess LADY, the first word, and through SVAROGA, PERÚN, VELESA and MOKOŠ (other Slavic deities were also mentioned) we got to the middle of the discussion. After a small snack, we continued with the creation of man, his body, soul and consciousness, the spark of life, and we continued the discussion... But if you want to come, I'll be happy to tell you about it too.
Of course, a person is not alive only by words and meditation, so after the discussion, a kettle stew cooked on the hearth was served. Believe it or not, there is a secret rumor that my beloved wife Ivanka cooks one of the best stews and few people can resist trying it.
I had planned to do meditation, but suddenly it was time to say goodbye and I didn't even have time to hand out souvenirs. But I still believe that I liked the visit, they also took something away from the discussion and everyone is satisfied.
